Building in Prince George’s County unlocked a different part of our heart. In partnership with @councilmemberko we’ve been able to show up for the mothers who show up for everyone else.

We not only create safe spaces but an opportunity for them to breathe , connect and talk through challenges they typically face alone.

We know some are wondering if a program like this is needed & we say, you can’t truly say your support the community and exclude moms. They are raising your future neighbors , doctors , teachers all while going through so many social , health and economic issues .

We are here to change that.

So share a post , volunteer , show up.

Because community care starts with you.

Building in Prince George’s County unlocked a different part of our heart. In partnership with @councilmemberko we’ve been able to show up for the mothers who show up for everyone else.

We not only create safe spaces but an opportunity for them to breathe , connect and talk through challenges they typically face alone.

We know some are wondering if a program like this is needed & we say, you can’t truly say your support the community and exclude moms. They are raising your future neighbors , doctors , teachers all while going through so many social , health and economic issues .

We are here to change that.

Kristen holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and has completed specialized trainings in Postpartum Mood Disorders with an emphasis on trauma and pregnancy and infant loss.

Kristen is also a Board Certified Supervisor with the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland, is a member of Postpartum Support International and the Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for People of Color.
