Our partnership with Mother’s First Initiative has officially paused and we are not able to offer any services to our Prince George’s County program participants until the pause is resolved .

In November 2022 we hosted our very first event in Prince George’s County. In partnership with Xfinity we supported over 100 + mamas while diapers, wipes and other essentials right before the holidays.

Serving mamas has always been something that makes our heart beat and we are so excited to launch more programs to support more mamas.

In November 2022 we hosted our very first event in Prince George’s County. In partnership with Xfinity we supported over 100 + mamas while diapers, wipes and other essentials right before the holidays.

Serving mamas has always been something that makes our heart beat and we are so excited to launch more programs to support more mamas.

We are super excited to launch our Career + Care Program for mamas in 2027.

We’ve actually been doing this for quite sometime in an informal way. We gotten our mom friends full time roles , business contracts , speaking engagements and other professional opportunities. Now it’s time to build a formal program around it.

Turning the clock back to one of our favorite events of the year 🤎

Resource Night was exactly what we imagined .

We’ve heard a few things over the last few months as we supported moms in Prince George’s County.

Half of them don’t believe this kind of support is real . They don’t believe they can actually receive postpartum support in their home at no cost .

Some of them do not believe they “deserve” support.
They have been in survival mode so long that this kind of help feels foreign .

But you do indeed deserve help.
This kind of support is real.

And we are here when you are ready.

Mama needs a hand is simple , It is a non clinical in home support service that provides a second set of hands when you need it most.

Mom assistants support with folding laundry , tidying up , assistants with childcare while you are home , safe baby practices , supporting mom and baby through presence , care and encouragement.

Mom assistants support does not stop at the appointment, if you have a needs request they will present it to our team to find other resources that can fill the gaps of the services we don’t provide.

What an incredible turnout at our open interviews today!

We met so many amazing candidates who came prepared and, most importantly, with a true heart to serve moms. After the interviews, we hosted our training and onboarding, and the response was so strong that we added another training session for next week!

We’re in the final stretch of serving 1,000 moms through our free, non-clinical in-home support services in Prince George’s County. The feedback from the moms we’ve served has been incredible, and we’ve recently expanded into even more ZIP codes.

Honestly housing is one of the resources that we get asked about all the time and there just aren’t enough places to send our mamas and their children.

This is why we are excited to start applying for funding for our “Her Nü Home” program where moms will live in a co-mothering home, receive childcare and wrap around services. Her Nü Home will also support moms with up skilling and career placement.

But until then , we will share resources to make finding a home a littler easier.
